Terms & Conditions
LTFA MEMBERSHIP MODEL/TERMS OF ENGAGEMENT
Enrolment in our classes is a monthly membership until you tell us otherwise via our cancellation form. Monthly membership payments are administered automatically each month through our Class For Kids platform. We require a minimum enrolment period of 3 months. Should you join part way through a month, a cover charge will be made reflecting the number of sessions you will participate in as part of that term. Should you cancel your subscription part way through a term, your charge will reflect the number of sessions you have participated in as part of that term up to the point of cancellation.
LTFA FEES
Your monthly fee is based on your session price as per our fee table published on our website, spread out evenly across the year. For example: If your child’s class is $45 per session, that’s $45 × 40 sessions/year (in line with school term) = $1,800 per year. We then divide that across 12 months = $150 per month (plus transaction fees). A $170 registration fee (plus transaction fees) applies for each registering child in any LTFA Program upon enrolment and is for the provision of the child’s compulsory jersey, shorts, socks, tracksuit top and tracksuit bottom to be worn at each training session.
PAYMENT OF FEES
Payments are taken on the 1st of each month to cover that month’s classes. Payments are automatic once your card details are set up. If the payment doesn’t go through on the 1st, it will be retried on the 4th and again on the 9th. If by the 15th it still hasn’t gone through, your child’s place in the program may be lost. This process won’t affect your credit score.
We spread the cost evenly across the whole year to make payments smaller and easier to manage. This way, some months you’re paying less than what you’d normally pay if charged only when classes run.
CANCELLATION POLICY
To cancel your membership and remove your child from the next month's classes, you must complete the cancellation form before the 7th of the current month. The cancellation form is on our website www.ltfa.com.au under Quick Links.
Example: To cancel your membership and remove your child from March classes, the form must be submitted before the 7th of February.
You’ll find it under Quick Links at the bottom of our website www.ltfa.com.au. If you have any questions, you can also email us at info@ltfa.com.au.
Once a cancellation form is submitted and processed, your child will be able to complete the current month’s classes, after which your child’s LTFA membership will be cancelled at the start of the following month.
REFUND POLICY
As part of enrolling in the LTFA Program, a commitment has been made between the LTFA Coach and the LTFA Child/Parent or Guardian such that they will both be in attendance for the given time slot for the term. Accordingly, payment will still be debited and refunds will not be made available for the LTFA Child’s non-attendance, whether due to illness, injury or any other reason.
MAKEUP SESSION POLICY
LTFA provides up to 2 makeup sessions per student per term. These sessions are scheduled during the school holidays for each age group and will be confirmed at the commencement of the term.
Makeup sessions are designed to cover any missed classes, including those affected by wet weather, illness, injury, or other absences. Please note that LTFA will only offer 2 makeup sessions in the school holidays, even if more than two classes are cancelled due to wet weather.
To secure a place in a scheduled makeup session, families must email info@ltfa.com.au at least 7 days prior to the scheduled session. Requests made after this time cannot be accommodated, and attendance will not be permitted without a confirmed booking.
In the event of wet weather, LTFA may seek to provide an alternative indoor or covered venue. If a suitable venue cannot be secured, the class will be cancelled, and participants will have the option to attend a holiday makeup session as above.
Makeup sessions are offered in group format only, regardless of whether the player is enrolled in group training, private lessons, or one-on-one coaching. Individual or private sessions cannot be rescheduled or made up separately.
Please note that makeup sessions are not transferable, cannot be carried over to future terms, and are not eligible for credits or refunds under any circumstances.
APPAREL
Any LTFA Apparel you wish to purchase can be purchased directly from the LTFA website at www.ltfa.com.au.
As part of enrolling in any LTFA Program, each child will be ordered an LTFA training kit comprising of the LTFA shirt, LTFA shorts, LTFA socks, LTFA tracksuit top and LTFA tracksuit bottom. Once received, this will be the kit the child is strictly required to wear at each of the training sessions attended. In the event this kit is lost or damaged, you will be able to repurchase the required part (or whole) of the kit from the LTFA website.
Each child is required to wear only LTFA clothing to LTFA training sessions. Strictly no personal attire is to be worn (e.g., club training kit, other team jerseys etc.).
Please note, any clothing items (including training kit) could take up to 4-6 weeks for delivery.
Each child will be required to purchase additional LTFA apparel should they wish to wear further clothing during their participation in the LTFA Program.
SOCIAL MEDIA POLICY
LTFA may take photos and videos of each child’s training session which includes the children in the videos. LTFA may share these photos or videos on LTFA’s social media pages or use as marketing collateral. This content may be used on LTFA’s various social media platforms and/or as marketing collateral, including digital advertising, service flyers, brochures and for other marketing purposes more broadly.
Should each child not wish to have their photos and videos shared on LTFA’s social media network, please inform us via email at info@ltfa.com.au.
PICK-UP AND DROP-OFF POLICY
Your child is expected to arrive on time to your training session and to be picked up at the conclusion of the training session.
CONFIDENTIALITY
LTFA acknowledges and agrees that any and all private information obtained about you, including but not limited to medical, financial, legal, and professional information, is strictly confidential and may not be disclosed to any party for any reason without your express consent, except to the degree that it is necessary to disclose medical and personal information in the case of a genuine medical emergency.
DISCIPLINE PROCEDURE
LTFA will endeavour to create an environment where the child feels free to express themselves when participating in the training sessions. However, we understand circumstances may arise where action is required to be taken in order to maintain such an environment, including dealing with children that are misbehaving.
In the event that an issue has been identified relating to the children in the session, you and LTFA will discuss the issue and take the requisite action to mitigate any issues from arising again in the future.
Should the same issues continue to arise, you and LTFA will once again identify and discuss the issue before taking further action in order to resolve the issue, which may include discussions with both parents/guardians of the children as required. The final course of action may result in the misbehaving child being asked to exit the LTFA Program.
GRIEVANCES AND COMPLAINTS PROCEDURE
Where you feel an issue is required to be raised with LTFA, you are welcome to discuss any issues with the coach before or after the training session, or alternatively by way of phone call or meeting at a mutually agreeable time. LTFA will endeavour to ensure that any reasonable complaints are dealt with in a timely and effective manner, noting that we will continue to keep you informed throughout the entire complaint resolution process.
LIABILITY / LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law, LTFA’s liability (if any) arising from a breach of any applicable terms, conditions or warranties is, at LTFA’s option, limited to, and completely discharged by the supplying of the services again, or the refund by LTFA of the fee paid for those services during the period of 1 week prior to the liability arising.
Except to the extent already set out in this clause, LTFA has no liability (including liability for negligence or recklessness) to any person for any loss or damage (direct, consequential or otherwise) suffered or incurred by any person in relation to any services supplied by LTFA (or LTFA’s employees, servants, officers, contractors or agents). Without limiting the generality of this limitation, LTFA has no liability for any loss or damage resulting from any failure, defect or deficiency of any kind in any services, and LTFA is not liable for any loss of profit or special, indirect or consequential damages of any kind.
Any valid claim by you against LTFA must be presented in writing to LTFA within a reasonable time, and in no event longer than 60 days after the relevant services have been supplied. No action may be maintained by you against LTFA unless a timely written claim has been given under this section, and unless legal action is commenced within 12 months after the supply of the relevant services.
EXCLUSION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES
The only conditions and warranties binding on LTFA in respect of the state, quality or condition of any service supplied by LTFA (or LTFA’s employees, servants, officers, contractors or agents) to you, are those imposed and required by law to be binding on LTFA (including under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) and applicable state fair trading laws). All other conditions and warranties, whether express or implied by law, in respect of the services which may apart from this clause be binding on LTFA, are hereby expressly excluded and negated.
